The Down Low is said to be a secret perversity where brothers secretly have sex with other men. The Down Low can include any type brother or a hidden bi-sexual man. Research shows that Down Low brothers come in all personas. Meaning – businessmen, thug types, blue collar workers, teenagers, and various ages of men. I pray that once my readers complete this book, she/he will have a better, more valuable view and definitive understanding of the Down Low.

So why is the Down Low gaining so much attention today? Because of the drastic increase in the number of black women diagnosed with HIV. That's Why! Generally most people could really give a damn about men having sex with men as long as it doesn't affect them. In fact, MSM (men having sex with men) is very sociably highlighted by frequent displays of  "gay pride" slogans, parades, legal cases, etc. But the Down Low is not so proudly highlighted; in fact, it is intended to be very "hidden", Why else would be called the Down Low?
